Chem-Dry is Your Trusted Partner in Removing Non-Living Allergens From Your Home

Tested and Proven Superior Results

Chem-Dry’s Hot Carbonating Extraction process targets loosened soil and non-living allergen sources in suitable carpet and upholstery. The study results below concern the tested materials, homes, and treatment conditions; they do not establish a household health outcome.

Independent laboratories tested the core cleaning process against selected non-living allergens and other measured targets. Read the study qualifications and treatment conditions alongside the figures; average results do not establish the same result in every home.

Hot Carbonating Extraction Study Results

Our Hot Carbonating Extraction (HCE) process was tested by a leading independent air quality laboratory in multiple homes. The lab found that Chem-Dry reduces the common household nonliving allergens from carpets and upholstery. The common allergens tested were dog and cat dander and dust mite allergens.

Pet Urine Removal Treatment (P.U.R.T.®)

An independent laboratory also conducted multiple tests of P.U.R.T.®, our revolutionary process for treating pet urine odors and stains. In tests against the most common odor sources found in dog and cat urine, the study concluded that P.U.R.T.® reduces the pet urine odors from carpets.

Reducing Non-Living Allergens from Your Home

Another service that an independent laboratory studied was our Stone, Tile & Grout Cleaning process. Based on several tests on tile surfaces in multiple homes, the study concluded that our Tile, Stone and Grout cleaning process, in conjunction with a sanitizer, reduces the bacteria from these surfaces.

Carpets, rugs, and upholstery can collect dirt and non-living allergen sources such as pet dander and dust mite matter. The study findings on this page describe the tested processes and average results; they do not establish symptom relief, a health outcome, or an identical result in every home.
